SoC_First Snow with Little-Noko

Dahahaha aww this is just too adorable-I place the blame squarely on for this!

I knew I wanted to do something with Kerato and Kel... I just didn't know what. So I asked Noko for some insight as to what would fill Kera with wonder, and snow was on the list of things.
And thus this image was born! lol

Even if there are pockets of lush landscape in Ares, I tend to envision it as a rather torrid, desolate, and volcanic place as a whole-so snow would be a pritty fascinating site to behold-especially in a world normally comprised of red and grey.

Kerato is trying his best to explain the fluffy white anomalies, while Kel is more then a tad curious about the strange print he just made. XD Typical kids at play!

Little Kerato was a joy to draw thanks to Noko's beautiful references of him, and for those of you thinking why are Kels eyes blue-here's the explanation!
I have been toying around with this idea for a long while-and I finally decided to commit to it!
Many animals are born with blue eyes-it's a common trait in kittens especially. (ironic no? XD) Anyway, its not until several weeks, or even months later that the true pigment and colors begins to show.
I decided to apply this to the Caindreads as a sign of youth vs maturity. Their natural yellow, gold, and red eye color doesn't appear until they come of age and their fires ignite-Thus the blue eyes kinda stand as a symbol of innocence.

Anyway, yes this is an alteration I will make to Kels Age Meme at a later date, but until then just know it is officially cannon to the Caindread race.
